Thai Yoga (known in Thailand as Lersi Dat Ton) is a form of moving meditation that utilises healing modalities from the various postures and related Sen (invisible lines in the internal body at which energy flows) to cure specific symptomatic ailments of the physical body. This is done by stretching and self-massaging the body in a way as to release the blockage of energy in the sen line to give one relief from the ailment afflicting them. Most people familiar with Lersi Dat Ton today view this practice as an exercise, or a way to relax the body, similar to Yoga of India.  While it can be utilised for this purpose as well, it is even more beneficial to its practitioner as it can also assist in healing actual ailments such as specific muscular aches and pains, headaches, toothaches, abdominal pain, etc.
